About The Taxidermist
A Taxidermist Who Understands the Hunt
The Taxidermist combines professional taxidermy craftsmanship with first-hand experience as a hunter. Based in Bannockburn, around 20 minutes from Geelong, with customers travelling from Melbourne and throughout regional Victoria. Direct personal service — you deal with the person doing the work.

The work
Built on Experience With Deer & Game
As a hunter himself, The Taxidermist understands that the value of a trophy goes well beyond antler size. It might represent years of effort, a difficult hunt, a personal best or an animal you may never encounter again. That first-hand understanding carries through from field preparation to the finished mount.
Every mount is prepared, mounted and finished with careful attention to anatomy, expression and the individual character of the animal. You deal directly with the taxidermist doing the work — no middlemen, no runaround.
